Brief Introduction:
Tuo Wang is an associate professor at Louisiana State University. He got his bachelor degree of Chemistry in Nankai University in 2010 and Ph.D. of Applied Chemistry in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), 2016. He did his postdoctoral research at MIT from 2016 to 2017. He mainly engaged in the determination of the cell wall structure of the pathogenic fungus Aspergillus, the lignin-carbohydrate complex assembly method of herb and woody plants, using big data to analyse the atomic structure of polysaccharide-rich biomaterials and to develop Complex Carbohydrate Magnetic Resonance Database (CCMRD), using Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) and solid-state NMR to detect the membrane-bound topology and the conformational dynamics of calcium ion unidirectional transporters and antimicrobial peptides. Nearly 40 papers were published in international journals such as Plant Cell, Nat Commun, Plant Physiol, J Phys Chem B, J Am Chem Soc, PNAS, Cellulose, Commun Biol, many of which were published in Nat Commun and were highlighted by Science Daily, Phys. Org and EurekAlert.
